Atlanta, GA, September 15, 2008 - - The first Retail Finance Leaders Roundtable was held on September 11-12, 2008 in Las Vegas. Finance executives from retailers accounting for over $800 billion in sales met last week to discuss and debate current issues, share operating insights, and network with peers.
"We are really pleased with the roundtable results", said Steve Riordan, SVP, PRG-Schultz Consulting. "The planning committee of leading retailers did a great job of identifying current topics of interest, and the retail F&A executives who attended said they received a great deal of value."
During the roundtable, executives held in-depth discussions and exchanged operating perspectives on common challenges they face every day including operating with imperfect finance & accounting systems and data, improving cash flows and controlling costs, and assessing the financial and operational stability of key vendors in this difficult economic environment.
