FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Public Law 107-107, SUBCHAPTER VI - - RECOVERY AUDITS, Sec. 3561 and new OMB guidance requires each executive agency that enters into contracts that exceed $500 million in a fiscal year to conduct a program to identify and recover overpayments made to contractors. The legislation provides for use of private sector recovery audit firms to be compensated on a pay-for-performance share of actual funds recovered. Furthermore any and all associated program costs may be reimbursed from the proceeds of the funds recovered.

PRG-Schultz first brought recovery auditing to the Federal Government and was the first firm to be on the Recovery Auditing GSA Multiple Award Schedule (SIN 872-1F). We identify and recover overpayments in support of the legislation and the President's Management Agenda to reduce erroneous payments.

We already serve Federal agencies such as the DoD, GSA, DOI, DOT as well as a majority of Fortune 500 companies worldwide. PRG-Schultz uses proprietary software and expert auditing techniques to review your procurement and payment transaction information and to identify, verify and recover overpayments.

We've already recovered $200 million for our government clients - overpayments that would otherwise have remained undetected and lost. Given our Federal Agency experience we can get your program up, running and productive with short lead times and optimum results.
