HIGH TECH

The rate of growth and change in the high tech space hasn't slowed. Innovation continues to drive development and the introduction of new applications, and you and your numerous suppliers have a lot of fluctuation to deal with. Prices change, and you need an experienced recovery auditing partner like PRG-Schultz to help enforce the price protection agreements you lock in. Rapid obsolescence and the need for just-in-time delivery methods force you to aggressively monitor and manage supplier performance.

That's where PRG-Schultz comes in. Our clients include several of the top names in technology. We've conducted over 80 engagements since 2000, and have recovered more than $60 million in inaccurate payments in that time.

Case Study #1
A $10 billion high-tech manufacturer client engaged PRG-Schultz because the client was concerned that it was paying several of its invoices more than once. The client employed multiple accounts payable systems across several divisions and its duplicate payment controls did not cross those divisional boundaries.

PRG-Shultz acquired the data from the client's multiple divisions, aggregated and standardized then reviewed it for duplicate payments and other payment errors over the 5 month engagement. The result was more than $1 million recovered for the client.

The PRG-Schultz team also recommended several procedural and process improvements to expand the client's ability to focus on and catch duplicate payment occurrences across its several divisional accounts payable departments.

The client implemented these recommendations and a subsequent recovery review of the client by PRG-Schultz identified less than $10,000 in duplicate payments.
