Business analytics specialist PRGX has been named the most valuable small-medium supplier to the Home Office in an official awards scheme.

PRGX, formerly known as Etesius, won the ‘Most Beneficial Contribution by a Small Medium Enterprise’ category of the Home Office Supplier Value and Innovation Awards Programme 2010.

The Chelmsford-based company, which was being officially recognised for a recovery audit carried out on behalf of the Home Office, overcame fellow finalists Eamus Cork Solutions and Ontrac 360 to collect the SVIAP award at a ceremony in London on Thursday.

Presenting the awards were senior figures from the Home Office including Sir David Normington, Permanent Secretary; Helen Kilpatrick, Director-General Financial and Commercial; and John Collington, Group Commercial Director.

The awards, now in their third year, were introduced to recognise the achievements of suppliers in helping the Home Office meet the challenges of the current economic climate, drive value from commercial activities and realise cost saving opportunities.

This year’s awards comprise eight categories focusing on value for money, performance improvement, collaborative working, corporate social responsibility and innovation.
