As a Business Analyst you will support our audits across the UK by supporting tools and processes that allow the audits to dig deep into large volumes of data to find transactional errors and payment discrepancies.

Your work is interesting and will facilitate the sharing of data within specific audits and ideas across the business.

Your time will be spent between analysing processed client data, analysing current audit processes, the support of tools & exception reporting (coding, some new development and periodic (monthly/quarterly/annually refreshes) for users (auditors) that help to focus and streamline recovery opportunities.

You will also work closely with the audit teams to analyse data and collaborate on the design and development of new concepts to drive our client’s bottom line.

You must be confident in SQL Server analysis and script reading/writing, and ideally have exposure to VBA( Excel, Access etc).


Key responsibilities

Will include utilising SQL Server, Access and VBA to support bespoke software solutions.

Working with Audit Teams, from Managers to Auditors, to help support and improve audit processes.

Creating and updating documentation of periodic refreshes.

Mapping of audit specific datasets to a new Common Data Model.


Desired Skills and Experience

·         SQL Server 2008 or later

·         Confident VBA experience – debugging and some new coding

·         Python

·         An understanding of SQL Stored Procedures – to support with some new coding

·         An interest in improving SQL Server knowledge, to understand indexing, optimising code and adapting approaches based on data volumes

·         Experience of working with large datasets (Millions+ Records)

·         Data Analysis
