Job title: Student Placement Staff Auditor / Financial Analyst

Work locations: Various available, Manchester, Nottingham, Luton, Hertfordshire however due to current Covid restrictions and your safety you will be working from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Main purpose of job: Clarify and conclude whether all financial commitments and agreements made by suppliers to the Client have been actioned correctly and rectifying any errors that may arise. This involves financial analysis, research, investigation, collaborative working supporting our internal colleagues and external clients, understanding the needs and then presentation and negotiation.
Key tasks: Review client contracts, archived data, emails and other documentation for evidence of errors and omissions in the financial commitments and agreements made by suppliers to the Client. Pursuit of such claims to the satisfaction of the client; liaising with key stakeholders up to CFO level.
Skills required: On course for achieving a 2.1 or above in their respective degree. High numerical ability.
Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel is advantageous.
Personal attributes: An ability to question and present information effectively.
High level of attention to detail with a clear questioning, methodical mind.
Integrity, support, honesty and trust is key
High motivation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both spoken and written
External contacts: Global Manufacturers, Client Trading and Finance Teams, Accounting and Data Services Colleagues.
Internal contacts: Other audit staff on site
Regional and Head Office staff of PRGX up to Managing Director
Remuneration: Competitive Placement Fixed Salary Income
Flexible working hours plus 25 days + bank holidays per year.

Essential hard skills that you’ll gain exposure to
When applying for jobs today it is very likely you will require experience of Microsoft packages. At PRGX this is one suite of tools we offer training on while in the programme. If you wish to gain exposure to something outside of your job then we’ll try and accommodate this for you, whether it’s to improve your PowerPoint skills and deliver presentations, incorporate a more sales or data focus to your role or gain exposure to a certain technology such as SQL, we’ll try and make this happen.
