SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with expertise in deep learning, particularly as applied to a combination of text and structured data. This role will report to the Manager, Artificial Intelligence and based out of PRGX’s Atlanta office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge Deep Learning models, driving innovation, and providing technical leadership to a team of data scientists. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and researchers, to identify opportunities, design solutions, and deliver high-impact projects that leverage Deep Learning technologies.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead the development and implementation of deep learning models to solve complex business problems and drive innovation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and domain experts to understand and integrate deep learning solutions into production systems and products.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in deep learning research and technology, and apply this knowledge to improve existing models and develop new capabilities.
· Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth and development of the data science team.
· Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear and effective presentations, reports, and visualizations.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- PhD preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in applying deep learning methods to text data, including natural language processing, text classification, sentiment analysis, or other related applications.
- Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
